Week 15: Desmond Ridder and Chad Ryland Revenge Games. Are you excited?
I knew Week 14 was going to be tough and it was. It wasn't all bad. Miami not only came back from 8 down to the Jets in the 4th quarter, but they covered the 5.5-point spread by scoring a walk off touchdown in overtime. The Falcons, Bears, and Chargers let me down.
Here were my results for the week:
Moneyline: 8-5
ATS: 8-5
Points: 7-6
And for the season:
Moneyline: 97-47
ATS: 82-58-1
Points: 73-69
We will have a full slate of games for the next four weeks as we are done with the byes, so I am going to keep the synopses short. Let's go!!!!
LA Rams at SF 49ers (-3) Total: 48.5
Rams win. Take the over.
Sean McVay against Kyle Shanahan in a big game. I'll take McVay. San Fran is banged up. They might be without Bosa, Trent Williams, and their top three running backs.
Kansas City (-4.5) at Cleveland Total: 43.5
KC wins and covers. Take the over.
I'm done with Jameis Winston. It was fun for a minute.
Cincy (-5) at Tennessee Total: 46.5
Bengals win and cover. Take the over.
Or should I say Joe Burrow beats the Titans?
Washington (-7.5) at New Orleans Total: 44.5
Washington wins and covers. Take the over.
The Saints wish the season ended after Week 3. Derek Carr is done for the season.
Baltimore (-16) at NY Giants Total:42.5
Baltimore wins and covers. Take the under.
Take Baltimore to win by more than 16, but take the under on points? How? I don't know – what is 41 plus 0?
Dallas at Carolina (-3) Total: 43.5
Carolina wins, but take Dallas with the points. Take the under.
Carolina is the "feel good" story of the year.
NY Jets (-3.5) at Jacksonville Total:40.5
Jacksonville wins. Take the over.
The Jets are NOT the "feel good" story of the year.
Miami at Houston (-3) Total: 46.5
Miami wins. Take the over.
Miami needs it more. Houston is overrated.
Indianapolis at Denver (-4) Total: 43.5
Denver wins. Take the Colts with the points. Take the over.
How good will Anthony Richardson's stamina be in the high altitude of Denver if he asked out of a game while playing in a dome?
Buffalo at Detroit (-2.5) Total: 54.5
Buffalo wins. Take the over.
I dropped a dollar down to win fifty before the season started that these two would make the Super Bowl. I am feeling good about that bet right about now.
Pittsburgh at Philadelphia (-5.5) Total: 43.5
Philadelphia wins, but take Pittsburgh with the points. Take the under on points.
Philly is more talented. Doesn't mean they are a better and/or smarter team, though.
Tampa Bay at LA Chargers (-3) Total: 45.5
Tampa wins. Take the under.
I have been on the Baker Mayfield bandwagon for a long time now. I feel bad for Justin Herbert. The guy has no weapons on offense.
Green Bay (-2.5) at Seattle Total: 45.5
Seattle wins. Take the over.
I have never believed in Love.
Chicago at Minnesota (-7) Total: 43.5
Minnesota wins, but take Chicago with the points. Take the over.
Caleb Williams is so hard to predict, but that's how rookies are – even top overall draft picks.
Atlanta (-4) at Las Vegas Total: 44.5
Atlanta wins and covers. Take the under.
The Falcons are much too talented to be on a four-game losing streak, but Michael Penix will have to wait at least another week. Last week was the Kirk Cousins "revenge game" against the Vikings. This will be the Desmond Ridder "revenge game" against Atlanta. I know you're excited.
New England at Arizona (-6) Total: 46.5
Arizona wins and covers. Take the over.
I think the bye week will have a negative effect on the Patriots as they got a taste of what permanent vacation will be like in four weeks. This will be the Chad Ryland "revenge game" as he makes three field goals leading the Cardinals to a, 30-21, victory.
Kyler Murray will have a big game and Marvin Harrison Jr. will be eager to show the Patriots that they made a mistake on passing on him with the third overall pick. I don't think the Patriots have any regrets.
